Un autre évènement est la diffusion dès ce lundi du premier single de U2, Get On Your Boots, issu du très attendu album, No Line On The Horizon, disponible le 02 mars 2009. Ce single peut être écouté sur le site officiel du groupe et évidemment sur la toile. Toutefois, les internautes peuvent télécharger dès aujourd’hui la pièce «Get On Your Boots» sur le service ITunes.
Pour ce nouvel opus, la formation irlandaise a enregistré à plusieurs endroits notamment au Maroc, à Dublin, New York et Londres. Le groupe a fait appel à des collaborateurs de longue date pour la production de cet album dont Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois et Steve Lillywhite.
L’album «No Line on the Horizon» sera disponible en cinq versions. U2 devrait partir en tournée l’été prochain.
